About the Host

McCrey is an experienced coffee professional with extensive knowledge in barista techniques, coffee roasting, green coffee buying, and training. Since 2015, McCrey has worked in various roles across the industry, specializing in Q-Grading, roast curve development, brew recipe creation, and sensory assessment. They have competed in three national SCA Brewers Cup competitions, two SCA Cup Tasters events, and multiple smaller competitions. Currently, McCrey is pursuing AST certification with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), aiming to make specialty coffee education more accessible and engaging.
