QF2 Screening: Myanmar through queer

Join us for a series of workshops for the Queer Fem Fest 2023 as we are nearing its close with the Queer Fem Fest afterparty on October 13th at Celeste. Moa Lyth Brand will be screening some queer shorts from Myanmar providing a queer perspective to the recent military coup as well as queer rights from the early 2010s.

Two friends who are political refugees from Myanmar reunite in a Thai border town after being separated by the military coup. The scars and traumas of their experiences have taken a toll on their relationship, and their changing sentiments and beliefs challenge their ability to reconnect with each other.
