DIY Zine-Making Workshop

This workshop invites participants to create their own small DIY zines using collage, writing, drawing, and simple folding techniques. Zines have long been used within queer, feminist, punk, and activist communities as accessible tools for self-expression, storytelling, sharing ideas, and documenting experiences outside of mainstream publishing.

Participants can make personal zines, collaborative mini-publications, poetry collections, comics, manifestos, visual experiments, or anything in between. The workshop is beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels — no previous experience with art, design, or writing is needed.

The session focuses on experimentation, creativity, and low-pressure making in a supportive environment. Participants will be guided through basic zine formats and encouraged to explore their own ideas and styles.
