A creative space to explore, express, and connect 🌈
Looking for a fun and safe way to connect with other queer teens while learning new skills? 💕 Join us for our Mobile Photography & Storytelling session! This event is all about using your 📱 phone or provided 📷 analogue and digital cameras to capture moments and turn them into meaningful stories that express your unique perspective. ✨
Whether you’re snapping spontaneous shots of everyday life or creating visual narratives about your experiences 📖, this session will help you sharpen your eye 👁️ and your voice 🗣️.
Who is this for?
👥 Teens aged 14–19 who want to meet new people, get creative 🎨, and enjoy a supportive, inclusive environment 🫶.
No experience necessary — just bring a phone (optional) and your curiosity! 🌟
Meet the Supervisors
🧑🎨 Mo (he/him)
Mo loves photography 📷, watching movies 🎬, traveling ✈️, and diving into political discussions 🗣️. He brings his visual storytelling skills and passion for connection to every session.
🧑🎨 jamila (she/they)
jamila loves writing ✍️, swimming 🏊, taking photos & videos (especially with analogue cameras 📸), and gardening 🌱. Their creative and thoughtful energy makes every workshop welcoming and fun 🎉.
Both supervisors have extensive experience working with young people and are dedicated to making this a safe and affirming space 🛡️ for all.
About the Project
🤝 A collaboration between Villa Vida Café 🏳️🌈 (Vienna’s cozy queer community hub) and Hint Wien 🎭 (supporting queer people through arts & accessible programming). Together, we’re creating spaces for queer youth to express themselves, make friends 💖, and explore creativity safely.
