ACTIVATE – EXPLORING QUEER JOY THROUGH ARTS & CRAFTS

For queer youth aged 14–19 | Free & all materials included!

Being a young queer person isn’t always easy—especially when the world feels heavy. We’re often expected to speak from a place of pain, to justify our existence, or to explain why our rights matter. But queerness is also joy. It’s power. It’s creativity, connection, and the future we dream of building together.

This month’s ACTIVATE session is all about reclaiming that joy.
Join us for an afternoon of vision board-style collaging, conversation, and reflection on what makes queerness beautiful. We’ll create space to explore our hopes, dreams, and the things that give us strength when things get tough.

We’ll have:
🖍️ Magazines, cut-outs, colorful paper, and craft supplies
🖼️ Plenty of time to share (or not!) in a supportive space
💬 Open conversations about joy, identity, and the futures we imagine

Feel free to bring your own materials too—if you’d like to add a personal touch!

Meet your supervisors:

emily (she/they) – a passionate youth worker who loves building and maintaining community, focusing on her special interests and finding new ways to live their authentic self.

Imọlẹ (they/them) – a poet-singer-writer + learning coach, unapologetically cute femme boi, seeking to create a more just world filled with queer joy through art and empathy.
