40th Birthday Celebration

Die Villa Vida möchte Sie einladen, das 40-jährige Bestehen des Projekts der Türkis Rosa Lila Villa zu feiern. Seit ihrer Gründung ist die Türkis Rosa Lila Villa ein notwendiges Zentrum der LGBTQIA+ Community in Wien und hat queere Personen und Organisationen beherbergt, die sich der Unterstützung der queeren Community verschrieben haben. Das Café Villa Vida wurde vor drei Jahren gegründet und hat sich der Bereitstellung einer sicheren und unterstützenden Umgebung für die queere Community Wiens von seinem Standort im Türkis Rosa Lila Villa-Gebäude verschrieben.

Während Gemeinschaftsprojekte, besonders radikale, schwer zu realisieren sind, glaubt die Villa Vida an das revolutionäre Potenzial von Community Organizing. In diesem Sinne laden wir Sie ein, die letzten 40 Jahre einer außergewöhnlichen Überlebensleistung zu feiern. Wir werden Geschichten, Bilder, Videos und unsere Visionen und Hoffnungen für die nächsten 40 Jahre und darüber hinaus teilen.

The Villa Vida would like to invite you to celebrate 40 years since the creation of the project of the Türkis Rosa Lila Villa. Since its creation the Türkis Rosa Lila Villa has been a necessary hub of the LGBTQIA+ community in Vienna and has housed queer individuals, and organizations dedicated to supporting the queer community. The Villa Vida cafe was founded three years ago and has been dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for the queer community of Vienna from its location within the Türkis Rosa Lila Villa building.

While community projects, especially radical ones are difficult to realize, the Villa Vida believes in the revolutionary potential of community organizing. In that spirit, we invite you to come and celebrate the last 40 years of an extraordinary feat of survival. We will share stories, images, videos, and our visions and hopes for the next 40 years and beyond.
