An Afro-Brazilian DJ, Mina weaves together musical connections between Brazil, other Afro diasporic communities, and the African continent. Expect a journey through Brazilian reggae, samba, soul, and jazz before closing the afternoon with early 2000s Brazilian funk.

“I am an Afro-Brazilian DJ and love to blend Afro diasporic sounds into my sets. Finding connections between Brazil, other Afro diasporic countries, and sounds from the African continent is my mission. For my Day DJ set at Villa Vida, I’ll be playing Brazilian reggae, samba, soul, jazz, and ending with early 2000s Brazilian funk.”
