Seven years of Villa Vida.

We come together at Celeste on June 19 to mark a moment of continuity, pressure, and care. This night holds celebration and urgency at the same time.

Villa Vida started as a space for queer life in Vienna that centers presence, voice, and collective strength. Over seven years, it grew into a hub for organizing, gathering, and creating. A place where art, music, and community work sit side by side.

These years hold many forms of work:

1. queer joy built through shared nights and events
2. radical resistance expressed through culture and action
3. space for queer youth to be seen and supported
4. consistent focus on disabled, POC, and marginalized communities
5. ongoing organizing in the heart of Vienna

This work did not stay abstract. It stayed present. In rooms, in conversations, in performances, in care networks that formed around need.

We continue because the need continues.

This night also responds to current pressure. Funds from the event go toward rising rent costs and the Queer Vienna Mutual Aid Fund. Both are essential to keeping community infrastructure alive and accessible.

Villa Vida plans to continue creating and collaborating for as long as capacity allows. Support at every level helps sustain that path.

Entry follows a pay-what-you-can model. No one gets turned away for lack of funds. Give what feels possible. Come as you are.
