Night of Words is a new open mic poetry night that will be held every third week of the month. Our aim is to celebrate and bring people from all walks of life into an intimate setting where they can share, dream and be beautifully queer. Everyone has a chance to hold the stage and you can speak, rap, or sing in whatever way you see fit or collaborate in other forms of artistic expression. You can share someone else’s work or perform your own pieces. You can speak in any language you desire and you can be whomever you want, we accept you.
However…we do no accept Transphobia, Queephobia, Homophobia, ableism, racism or any form of violence that marginalizes or discriminates. We are here to bring POC voices to the forth front but all are welcome to perform and listen.

Note: The mission & vision of our event is to create a space where people can come & express themselves in a way that they find comfortable. There is a tendency for people being intimidated to perform in front of people and different heavy feelings. Due to this, we are very adamant for people to see the event space where they get over such fears. We encourage people to participate.
