Working with poems like “Stations” and “Today is Not the Day”\, we’ll reflect on self-definition\, accountability\, care\, and the building of collective spaces for joy—even\, and especially\, in difficult times. \n\n\n\n✹ Feeling-first reading & writing‹✹ Poetry as survival\, pleasure\, resistance\, and presence‹✹ No prior writing experience needed \n\n\n\nThroughout the session\, participants may (if they choose) contribute to a collectively created\, process-based Zine that circulates during the workshop. Contributions can be anonymous\, multilingual\, visual\, and/or textual. The Zine is built only from work already created in the space and is understood as a temporary\, consent-led collective artefact rather than a publication — echoing Audre Lorde’s pedagogy of solidarity\, joy\, and self-conscious living. \n\n\n\nThis space centres BIPOC voices and explicitly welcomes Black participants\, queer folks\, migrants\, and multilingual writers. This session centers love\, survival\, queerness\, and coming of age under pressure. You can make jewelry\, charms\, or just experiment with beads and elastics however you like. There’s no “right way” to do it—you can follow an idea\, copy a pattern\, or just sit and let your hands do their thing. It’s about making something tactile and spending time together\, not about perfection. \n\n\n\nThis session is brought to you by Ona (she/her) and Toni (she/her). \n\n\n\nOna is a talented writer and translator who’s been passionate about fibre arts for over a decade. From embroidery to knitting\, her hands are magic and her tips are gold.  \n\n\n\nToni feels at home in Vienna’s art and culture spaces. Alongside her studies in social anthropology\, she designs gatherings that are cozy\, different\, and intentionally safe for her peers and friends. \n\n\n\nExpect lots of beads\, time to chill\, and a safer space to hang out and make something together. Just come as you are. \n\n\n\nActivate is a fun\, safer space for queer teens to hang out\, make stuff\, and connect. \n\n\n\nSessions run in English and/or German\, depending on what participants prefer.
