Their sets focus on creating a shared atmosphere rather than sticking to rigid genre boundaries\, allowing space for experimentation and flow. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDJs have played a central role in queer culture. In spaces where queer people were excluded\, DJs created environments where identity and expression could exist. Through sound\, they shaped rooms\, built connections\, and guided shared experiences. \n\n\n\nMany of the sounds and practices that define nightlife today grew out of queer spaces. House\, disco\, and club culture were shaped by queer communities\, especially Black and Latinx scenes. \n\n\n\nDay DJ continues this history by creating space for new voices and keeping this culture active.

In this second workshop\, we move from the inner experience of anger to the relational field\, exploring how empathy\, active listening\, and mindful communication support conflict transformation and nervous system co-regulation. \n\n\n\nDrawing from neuroscience\, mindfulness\, psychology\, and non violent communication (NVC)\, we learn how conflict can become an opportunity for understanding\, connection\, and shared humanity. \n\n\n\nYou’ll explore:● The neuroscience of conflict resolution\, empathy\, and active listening● How to practice empathy and mindful communication to reshape bodilysensations and internal narratives● How to solve\, step-by-step\, conflicts with non-violent communication● Acknowledging the concept of shared humanity and common underlying needs and feelings● Cultivating compassion and empathy towards others by exploring guided imaginary\, daily life hacks and meditation tools \n\n\n\nIdeal for anyone wanting to navigate anger\, stress\, and conflict with moreawareness\, emotional intelligence\, and compassion – in daily life\, relationships\, and communication. \n\n\n\nYou are welcome to join one workshop or both.
