SUMMARY:The Art of Drag Face with Discount Liquor
DESCRIPTION:Dragalicious presents a hands-on workshop on drag makeup and persona creation led by Vienna drag artist Discount Liquor. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDrag starts with transformation. In this workshop\, you work with makeup as a tool for building character\, expression\, and identity. Discount Liquor shares techniques used on stage and guides participants through the process of creating a drag look while shaping the persona behind the face. \n\n\n\nParticipants explore: \n\n\n\n•⁠ ⁠Basic drag makeup structure•⁠ ⁠Contour and highlight for stage presence•⁠ ⁠Eye design and dramatic expression•⁠ ⁠Lip shapes and face framing•⁠ ⁠Using color\, texture\, and exaggeration•⁠ ⁠Developing a drag persona through visual choices \n\n\n\nThe session focuses on experimentation. Try new shapes\, new ideas\, and new characters. The goal centers on the exploration of craft and identity. \n\n\n\nParticipants bring: \n\n\n\n•⁠ ⁠Their own makeup kit if available•⁠ ⁠A mirror if possible•⁠ ⁠Curiosity and willingness to experiment \n\n\n\nBeginners welcome. DESCRIPTION:It’s only very recently that a visible portion of trans people has been allowed entrance to the documented workforce. But not just our ancestors and elders are unthinkable without the domain of sex work\, it’s just the same for our contemporary community. \n\n\n\nSo we’re delighted to announce a collaborative event with Berlin’s very own Trans*sexworks\, a peer-to-peer support structure and a network for and made up of Trans*sex workers. This event will include a workshop\, discussion and community formation. It’s aimed at sex workers and trans people looking to connect\, and everyone interested in learning. \n\n\n\nWHEN? Saturday 18.04. 6pm \n\n\n\nWHERE? Villa Vida To learn more about Trans*Sexworks\, check out their website: https://transsexworks.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nErst seit kurzer Zeit hat ein sichtbarer Teil von trans Menschen Zugang zum formellen Arbeitsmarkt erhalten. Doch nicht nur unsere Vorfahr:innen und Älteren sind ohne den Bereich der Sexarbeit kaum vorstellbar\, das gilt ebenso für unsere heutige Community. \n\n\n\nDeshalb freuen wir uns\, ein gemeinsames Event mit TransSexworks aus Berlin anzukündigen\, einer Peer-to-Peer Unterstützungsstruktur und einem Netzwerk von und für TransSexarbeiter:innen. Das Event umfasst einen Workshop\, eine Diskussion und Raum für Community-Bildung.
